We joke that none of us planned to end up here. Kaspars came to 'find himself,' Noah was escaping burnout, Marcus was running from a bad breakup. Sofia and Kristina came for a month and never left. We all just... stayed. We met randomly – at surf breaks, beach bars, one at a full moon party. Started hanging out, helping each other with gigs here and there. Eventually we realized we worked well together and had the same crazy idea: why not start a surf camp? That was three years ago.
Now we're on our 20th camp, and we just want you to experience the same thing that made us all stay.

One week of intensive training, radical discipleship and lots of fun!
Step away from the noise, be set apart, and get equipped for the calling Jesus has for your life. DTW is a space to encounter God deeply and be equipped to live out your faith with boldness and purpose.

Morning

We’ll start the day with corporate prayer orworship, followed by a few hours of training with Richie.

First Waves & Island Vibes

Your first proper day! We'll ease you into Bali surf with a morning session at a beginner-friendly break. Instructors will assess everyone's level and split into groups so you're with people at your pace. In the afternoon, we explore Canggu on scooters to get our bearings. Tonight we'll hit up a local warung for authentic Balinese food.

Surf Progress & Beach Club

Morning surf session focusing on technique — pop-ups, positioning, reading waves. You'll already feel more confident than yesterday. In the afternoon, we're heading to one of Canggu's famous beach clubs for lunch, drinks, and good vibes. It's the perfect mid-week energy — sun, music, ocean views, and your new best friends.

Temple Visit & Culture Day

No surf today — we're switching it up! Morning trip to one of Bali's stunning temples (Tanah Lot or Uluwatu), then lunch with a view. In the afternoon, we visit a traditional market where you can shop for souvenirs, try local snacks, and soak in Balinese culture. Tonight is a networking dinner — a chance to connect more deeply with everyone over good food and conversation.

Surf & Waterfall Adventure

Back in the water! Morning session at a new spot — slightly more challenging waves for those ready, or continued practice at the mellow break. In the afternoon, we head to a hidden waterfall. Bring your GoPro — this is one of those Bali moments you'll want to remember. Tonight, cook together at the villa.

Surf & Spa Day

Morning surf — by now you're feeling the rhythm of the ocean. This afternoon is all about self-care. We've arranged group rates at a local spa for massages. Tonight we're going out — live music at a beach bar, dancing, and celebrating the week.

Final Surf & Farewell

Last surf of the week—make it count! This morning is bittersweet as you catch your final waves with the crew. Afternoon is open for last-minute shopping or beach time. Tonight we gather for a farewell dinner, share highlights, exchange contacts, and probably get a little emotional. If you're staying for Week 2, this is just halftime!

Learn to ride waves with Bali's best coaches
Our instructors are Bali locals who learned to surf on these waves as kids. They know which break suits your level and exactly what you need to hear — whether it's your first wave or you're working on cutbacks.
They adapt to you. Total beginner? They'll walk you through every step. Already surfing? They'll push your technique further. By the end of two weeks, you won't just trust them—you'll genuinely miss surfing with them.
All instructors hold international surf certification with 5+ years teaching experience.
Max 6 people per instructor. Personalized feedback, proper supervision, faster progression.
Frequently
Asked Questions
Do I need to know how to surf already?
Not at all! Most people who come are complete beginners or have only surfed a few times. Our instructors work with all levels, and we split into groups so you're learning with people at your pace. If you can swim and are willing to try, you're ready.
I'm traveling alone — will I feel out of place?
Actually, most people come solo. That's the beauty of it — everyone's in the same boat (or on the same board). By day two, it feels like you've known each other forever. Solo travelers often tell us this was the best decision they made.
What's not included in the price?
Lunches (we usually grab these together at local spots, budget $5–12), personal expenses like extra massages or shopping, travel insurance, and your flight to Bali. Everything else — accommodation, breakfast, dinner, surf lessons, activities, airport transfers — is covered.
What if the dates don't work for me?
We run multiple sessions throughout the year. If these dates don't fit your schedule, drop us a message and we'll let you know when the next camps are happening. You can also join our email list to be the first to know about new dates.
Is Bali safe for travelers?
Yes! Bali, especially Canggu, is very safe and welcoming to international travelers. The local community is used to surfers and tourists, and we'll be with you for most activities. We'll also give you a full safety briefing on day one covering everything from scooter riding to ocean awareness.
Can I extend my stay at the villa?
Sometimes! If the villa isn't booked for another camp immediately after, we can often arrange for you to stay a few extra nights at a discounted rate. Just let us know in advance and we'll check availability. Many people do this to explore Bali on their own after the camp ends.
